AUGUST SIRE SUMMARY UPDATES

The Jersey Revolution remains strong and vibrant! At Select Sires we are excited to share our two new graduates! 7JE1477 JX SAINT {4} brings balanced Milk (+998) with huge Combined Fat and Protein (+114 CFP) and great Cheese Merit (+541 CM$). He adds strength and width to frames and length to teats.

In the Accelerated Genetics product line, 14JE704 JX CALVIN {4} joins the daughter-proven lineup. JX CALVIN {4} is a top five bull in the breed for Jersey Performance IndexTM (JPITM) (+181) with pretty daughters. He is a money maker (+550 NM$) that sires average-size cows and great fore and rear udders. 

The Jersey results from the August sire summary were pleasing. 7JE5004 CHROME continues to climb the ranks with daughter-proven performance. He saw a jump in JPI to +193 and continues to excel in traits and indexes across the board. He is now the No. 2 JPI sire in the breed according to the U.S. Jersey list at 98 percent reliability. He also boasts +1,176 Milk and +114 CFP all while delivering breed-leading Type at +2.6 and +30.9 Jersey Udder Index™ (JUI™), he is an outstanding sire!


14JE670 LEMONHEAD held steady while doubling the number of daughters in his proof. He has +2.2 Sire Conception Rate (SCR) and is +4.1 Productive Life (PL) and still provides the customer-satisfaction kind that dairymen love to see.
